We also received Remy's little paw print back and his ashes. I wanted to take time to thank the fosters that snuggle these babies until they come to us at the sanctuary. Barbara was a temp foster Mom to Boots, Remy, and Beansy before they all came here. Temp foster homes save lives. If they had not been pulled from the kill shelter to safety until we had space they most definitely would not have had a chance. Boots and Remy have passed on but Beansy still shines for them all!! 🐶 Thank you, Barbara for loving all three of these boys 💙 When local rescues are asking for temp fosters please stand up! It could be a weekend or a few weeks such a short amount of time needed to save lives! We love each and every senior that comes along to the sanctuary! Josephiney Weeny Queeny reliving her 17th Birthday celebration from March 2005. This video sort of went viral a week after it was originally posted. Mama hoomin wondered why the year before no one seemed to take note of her 16th birthday or the one before that and the one before that. But for her 17th birthday, she was suddenly a celebrity. Other rabbits have lived as long as she did, 18-1/2 years, but I guess Josephine the chinchilla-colored Queen was the first high tech lady of the long tooth.
