Bugs around lamps. The reproductive soul of summer. Every year these little black flies arrive to do whatever it is they do in my bedroom. In a week there will be dead flies all over my bed.

[note to self] thread screw sizing TDR M4

I went to the hardware store to try to get screws which match the “tribal dream” rings. My attempt at using a screw pitch measuring tool and calipers was correct in sizing the largest (00g x 1″ ID) as M4-0.7. Unfortunately this was the smallest the store carried. 

Now I have confidence in my ability to measure though.

Preparing the #procionmx cold water dye. Found recipes and instructions confusing so made up my own: 340g fabric (dry weight, but soaked in sofa ash water) 350 mL kosher salt 6L water 5g (about 10mL) cobalt blue
