Saw ur post abt shin godzilla and wanted to know ur opinion on the goat godzilla 1998 🥺✌️ (lwk one of if not my my favorite movie btw) (my other fav godzillas are 2000 and Showa)

i cant lie, i haven't seen 1998's zilla yet but i cant lie that is not godzilla, thats a mutated iguana /silly!! but it looks more like something in the jurassic park/world series than a godzilla film to me XD

Off the bat, I want to say that I like the 1998 Godzilla movie, and I like Zilla, but I do agree that it was a very large departure from previous depictions of Godzilla.

In this version of the picture, Optimus Prime’s bad day was seeing the Godzilla x Transformers figures, and how they were unfortunate releases.

How do I explain that my main Godzilla AU is just 1998 Godzilla (Zilla Sr) and his son living in an isolationist island nation named Edestus which is ruled under an absolute monarchy by Destoroyah, and that it was isolated solely because during the Cold War, the island was under Soviet control, and they (along with a secret organisation from Hollow Earth) tried creating a bio weapon against the Americans, only to end up creating a race of parasitic flesh organisms that are severely vampiric?
