I heard a program last night about what is happening in the retirement residences and we are really in a good way hard as it is. But it also showed how in the Ministry of socalled health the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. As for the religious establishment….tonight on the news there was a report that 16 corpses of people who had died of Corona have been brought here to Israel for burial. Evidently it is a very paying business for the bastards of rabbis who don’t give a damn about what is happening here but only their own pockets and their own people. I know it is not all of them but I would like to lock them up and throw away the key. But can you imagine their being so irresponsible!!
Just had a letter for the house saying that next week they hope to make things easier. So at least that is something to hold on to even though it is so hard. But they say in the beginning we will not be able to have visitors. Just to get out of the room would be enough. The story of the rabbi and the goat.

I have spoken to several people on my side of the house if they would be interested in opening their windows to hear her sing and everyone jumped at it. I spoke to one of the committee members but he didn’t seem interested but said that of course I could do what I wanted to
My friend in the house told me she had not slept all night. She got an email threating her and also with her password demanding money from her and threatening to show the porno she was been watching. She has never watched porno in her life and I phoned Avner. His assistant answered me and said that his father had also received such a letter and they told him simply to delete it. I wonder if anyone else has been harassed with that. She said she did not sleep all night. But now it turns out she used an old password so I have been told she should just ignore it.
A very muddled day. For some reason I was very tired and only did 4 kilometre. I don’t think it was because of yesterday
I walked a bit , then exercised and then had an Arabic lesson by zoom. I did translations for Machsom……phone reports and then at three a Spanish lesson though we did not manage to use the zoom that I had sent. I could hear her but we could not see one another. Avner will phone me tonight. He can get into my computer and will talk me through it.
But all of a sudden and I still don’t know why my tv started making a terrible noise and died on me and the computer too. I pulled out the converter and also all the plugs of the phone. I must say that the reception desk is so friendly and warm. As soon as I phoned them Amnon came up and he was so calming and we got things working again but it was a horrible feeling. It is one of the things that really worries me because without them I think I will truly go mad. The speaker of my phone is also giving me trouble and the problem will be to get it to Avner who would fetch it. He says he can give me a spare in the meantime but all this makes me feel more and more how dependent I now am on these things.
Actually a very unsatisfactory day in which I feel I did nothing.

German prosecutors investigate ex-VW chief over emissions scandal
In the news I learned about Braunschweig prosecutor’s office that is looking into Martin Winterkorn and another senior figure over suspected market manipulation. In specific the German prosecutors are investigating the former Volkswagen chief executive Martin Winterkorn and another senior executive over suspected market manipulation in relation to the diesel emissions scandal.
The VW chairman, Hans Dieter Pötsch, who was chief financial officer at the time, was not being investigated, the prosecutor’s office said, without disclosing the name of the other individual.He apologised and said he took full responsibility for the scandal, but denied any personal wrongdoing.
The latest investigation will add to VW’s legal headaches and be grist to the mill of investors seeking to challenge the carmaker’s management at an annual shareholders’ meeting on Wednesday.
