how you’re (probably) going to die
You’re going to die a boring, insignificant death. The odds of being in a fatal plane crash are about 1 in eleven million meaning if you flew every single day you've need to live about 30,000 years to actually get into an accident. Bungee jumping has one in a hundred thousand chance of ending you. One in 1700 people die when mountain climbing. Dying on the way to space gives you one in a hundred chances to die. Considering you need an endless amount of qualifications to be an astronaut, it probably won’t happen. Though, diseases and abuse kill millions a year. In the last century, around a hundred million people were killed by tobacco. The United States alone have 300,000 deaths per year due to obesity. 88,000 died because of alcohol related incidents. A few thousands die because of overdosing. That’s not all too: cancer kills one in seven people, heart diseases kill one in four, and strokes kill one in 23. This all proves that everything you’re scared about most likely won’t end up being your demise. So stop worrying about it and go live your life and take risks because chances are, the odds were never against you to begin with.
