World that's quite different.
"The portal is Open! " Gem shouted. The Aquamarine disk of magic appeared. She held up her Staff of magic. Scott sensed something just as the air turned dark. His face turned towards it.
"Go!" Scott's commanding voice echoed the golden Horns glistened in the lightning.
"Wher' do yer think yer going? "Xornoth's voice echoed through the leader's heads.
"Back off!" Shrub shouted as she fired her bow. It hit encroaching tendrils, and the tendril sprouted Mushrooms from the impact.
A Wall of water appeared. Lizzy's command of the Ocean was absolute. Guardians were shooting their lasers into the corruption, causing the Red to twist in pain. Pixel raised his trident; Lightning struck the ground outside the barrier, causing more pain to the corruption. Tendrils shot through the wall of water. Scott Raised his hand; the tendrils turned to stone in his Golden light.
"What do you think you're doing? Go! We'll hold them off until the portal is closed." Lizzy Shouted.
"Lizzy!"Joel shouted. Fwhip grabbed the king of Mizzalia's arm, pushing him out of the way of arrows from Joey and sausage. Fwhip got hit in the process. Fwhip pulled The Mizalian King through the Portal.
Gem watched as her fellow rulers escaped through the portal she had made. She was about to close the portal behind Jimmy and turn to face Xornoth alongside the other three among them. But something hit her in the back. Flinging her forward and through the portal. Gem turned and saw that it had been Pix; he had a look of apology on his face before he turned and raised his shield booking incoming arrows.
"No!" she shouted as she emerged from the other side. Gem stumbled to her feet. She had to close the portal.
"Gem, don't close the portal!" Joel shouted at her. "Lizzy's still back there."
"Close the Portal Gem!" Jimmy shouted.
"We can't let Xornoth, though," Shrub shouted, her bow pointed towards the portal.
"Close it!" Pearl said
The Portal was already shrinking. It took only a moment later for the portal to close.
Joel fought against fWhip and Jimmy restraining him. Joel threw off Fwhip he pulled out his sword. He lunges towards Gem. Pearl appeared, holding up her shield. She blocked the strike towards Gem.
"Joel, calm down," Jimmy said, grappling with the Mizalian King.
"You need to take a Deep Breath!" Shrub shouted. She was pushing King Joel back as well.
"We need to save them."
"We can't be fighting right now," Katherine said.
"She abandoned them!"
"We didn't have much of a choice!" Pearl said
"That's enough!" Gem Said. A cold breeze swept over the group." Now was not the time to argue or cause contention."
"Gem," Fwhip said. Gem looked over at her oldest allie. He was clutching his arm. The was an arrow with a black shaft and fletching. Gem's eyes widened. His arm was turning black.
"Fwhip," she rushed to the count's side in time to catch him as he stumbled. "You'll be fine after we get some food in you."
Fwhip winced. "It's not the typical arrow of harming. We have to cut it off."
"What!" "No!" "Are you crazy?" the other rulers expressed.
"Fwhip no," Gem said, hugging Fwhip tighter.
"Trust me; I watched Sausage and Joey test it on their citizens," Fwhip said, " If we don't remove the limb..."
"You could Die." Pearl guessed.
Gem laid Fwhip down on the ground. There was nothing in the surrounding area besides woods. Katherine ripped part of her dress off and tied a tourniquet. Jimmy was the only one with a surviving Ax. The blackening skin was spreading Gem held his other hand. Pearl was at Fwhip's feet to retrain Fwhip if Jimmy's strike didn't cut clean through. Shrub stood next to Joel, who was leaning against a nearby tree.
The ax fell.
Argh' Fwhip yelped. Katherine quickly tightened and wrapped the tourniquet putting pressure on it. With more makeshift Bandages. He passed out.
"What's going on here?" a voice said. It was familiar to Gem; it was her own. But it came through the Birch Trees. The Rulers turned towards the new Gem voice. The New Gem's eyes widened. The new Gem was identical in her face and stature; the biggest difference would have to be the buckhorns coming from the top of her head.
"Stay here. I'll get you some help." the New Gem Said. A set of plain Elytra spread, and the Zip of a rocket and new Gem was off.
Less than five minutes later.
"Thank notch. You're still here." The New Gem said, gliding to the top of a Tree. "I bought help."
"Where is the patient." a Green Man appeared. He had a half-metal face with a red-eye. He landed on the same Tree as New Gem. Another man with wolf ears and a similar arm to the metal-faced green man.
The green man swooped down to the ground. He hefted a box from nowhere. "Pardon me; I’ll need to see them."
The rulers looked at each other. Jimmy, Katherine, and Pearl backed away to where Shrub and Joel were standing.
Gem healed tight to Fwhip. The White Coat took the place of Katherine and Jimmy. He pulled out gauze and bandages and began working. He Pulled out Fermillar potions and held them out to her.
"How does he Look, Doc?" The wolf ears man asked the red-eyes glancing over his black spectacles.
"He'll Survive. I could make him a Cybernetic limb, but only if he, himself, or his Family approve of it. Not going to modify without consent; Geneva convention Rules and all."
"What are cybernetics. " Katherine asked. Gem gently pours the regen potion into Fwhip's mouth.
"Oh! It's what this arm is." the Wolf eared Man said, flexing the black metallic limb.
"Okay." Gem said.
The white coat leaned back. "He'll make it Gemini."
The New Gem crouched down." We'll take him to my place so that he can rest there."
"Yeah, What about the rest of them?" The wolfman asked,
"Well, just put a message in chat and see if some other people would be willing to spare a bed for them." Gem pulled out a square box and started to click away.
"Follow me, new people." The other Gem said and took off into the forest in the opposite direction she brought the two strangers from.
Gem picked up Fwhip with some difficulty.
"Need some help there, Gemini?" The wolfman asked.
"No," Gem said. " Fwhip is my friend."
The wolfman gave a small smile. "Well, it doesn't hurt to ask."
They were only a short way from where the rulers arrived when they spotted a tower manor or castle. The Rulers followed the three strangers and stepped onto a dirt path. They walked and could hear the conversation between them.
"The hippy van is too small for another person." the metal-faced man said.
"I wasn't going to offer our place either." The red shit man said.
"Well, for in their starter base, I would have to say Etho and Iskall could have another bed somewhere on their cliff home. Keralis could put down another bed somewhere in his house, Scar and Grian could too, Maybe Pearl. Cub, False, and Stress have some room, but it would throw off their interiors or would be cramped."
"All that running around looking for The Tegg giving you some intel."
"Well, it was Grian's Idea, and I thank him for it." Other Gem said. There was a Ping, and other Gem pulled the box-like thing from her pocket again. "Pearl got back. said she has an empty space for one person."
"You mean that Pearl?" the wolf Man asked.
"Not that Pearl, obviously." Other Gem said, shouldering him
"I'm only joking with you, Man."
They arrived at the castle manor. With a large wooden stag outside.
"Well, you can stay here until we figure out bunking for now."
Other Gem directed Gem to a bed. They laid Fwhip under the covers Tucking him in.
"He should be fine on his own for now. How 'bout you come downstairs and We can Introduce ourselves."
They returned to the main room.
"I'm Docm77; most people call me Doc." the Metal face man said
"Rendog, go by Ren." the werewolf in the red shirt said.
"Jimmy Cod Father of the Cod Kingdom," Jimmy said, bowing his cod head.
"Lady Katherine, Mayor of the Overgrown," Katherine said, her small wings fluttering behind her.
"Queen Pearl of Gilded Helianthia," Pearl said, curtsying
"Shrub of the Undergrove." Shrub said.
"King Joel of Mizalia and Ocean." Joel introduced
"Well, that just leaves Us, "the other Gem said. "Geminitay, I go by Gem."
"Wizard Gemini of Crystal Cliffs. and the man you helped is Count Fwhip of Grimlands."
"This is going to get confusing, Gem, Gems?" Katherin said.
"Well, you could say that." Pearl entered the room in a dark hoodie and shorts. "Heard you introducing yourselves. I'm PearlescentMoon. I go by Pearl. Perhaps for Lady Pearl and I. She goes by Pearl, and I go by... Moon."
"Oh, then I could go by Tay. But I still want to call you wizard 'caus that's so cool." The 'other Gem' now Tay we can use this method as long as we're in the same room together."
"You have no complaints from me," Jimmy said. And the rulers agreed.
"Oh, where are we?" Shrub asked.
"You’re in Hermitcraft Season Eight in Gem's Birch forest," Doc said. "Sorry, Tay's Birch Forest."
"Well, I'm going for some Shuteye offline. The Doggo needs some walk time. See you tomorrow."
"Latter Ren," Doc said.
Ren walked out of the House. Doc turned to the Group
"I've got some Copper to Grind out at the Octochunk goodbye Tay, Moon, highness," Doc said. He left, fireworks zipping off as soon as he stepped outside.
"Well, now to Determine who's bunking with me until we get you your own house," Moon said.
"I think that should be obvious," Pearl said. "I'm staying with you."
