Welp, 55 days into this whole parent thing and I finally experienced my first time being spit up on. Right in the hair. She passed out immediately afterwards and I couldn't bear putting her down no matter how much I smelled like sour milk.
Working from home today so you KNOW it's going to be an amazing day. Especially since I don't have to go back into the office until Tuesday thanks to the three-day weekend! Yeeeee!
It’s always a pleasure to see my acupuncturist. We usually spend the majority of our session just talking about Chinese Medicine (TCM) and the inner workings and stuff like that. For example, today he briefly mentioned the Coronavirus. He said that they did side-by-side studies of the virus with Western and Chinese Medicine (it is in China, after all) and found that the virus is indeed a heat pathogen, and they’re developing a TCM treatment along with the Western medicine treatment. Super fascinating.
Anyways. He put a bunch of pins in my arms this time, which is always a weird feeling because I legit feel pinned to the table, and like I can’t move.
But what is even more interesting, is after he put the pins in me and left me alone for awhile, which is customary, I tried to visit the astral to see if my guides wanted to get in on the healing action, but more just to talk to them. I haven’t talked to them in like 2-3 days. But. As soon as I tried to “climb” out of my body, I was sucked back in. It’s like a rubber band; you pull it, and then it snaps right back into place. I tried it a couple more times, and indeed I kept snapping back into my body. That’s never happened before... tbh I’m not 100% sure on what to make of it. I don’t think I’ll understand this until I actually go to school for TCM.
Anyways, so I just stayed in my body and called out to my guides. They did come, both of them. They formed above me, but there was a 3rd spot left empty next to them... I wondered... was it the Gentle Giant?? and indeed it was!! They began to materialize, and i realized that I hadn’t filled in my other 2 guides, so I told them about my encounter with them. Then GG appeared. Their appearance is still kind of vague... I think at this point, it is more on my discernment; but to be fair, trying to visualize something that you have absolutely no reference for is extremely difficult; like seeing something that you’ve never seen before, or hearing words that don’t exist in your language. I kept getting some images of like an elephant head with a trunk?? But it doesn’t seem right, so I guess we have yet to see what they look like.
Anyways, introductions were made. My guides seemed to greet them warmly, friendly, almost as if they already knew each other... GG floated around and did some minor energy tinkering above me, before leaving it alone. My guides didn’t stick around for very long, as the energy movement got too intense for me to stay focused. But. I think it’s official!! GG is officially a spirit guide!! How exciting!
Anyways, the treatment went well. My acupuncturist also gave me some TCM herbs, which I haven’t done before. So this will be interesting to see how it works (and also tastes, which I already know isn’t going to be good lol). Also, he agreed to continue my qigong training! We’re going to begin sometime late next month. I’m soo excited!
Anyways, that’s it for now! I have a feeling that I’m going to sleep well tonight. Hope everyone has a good evening.
Blessings!

Happy Valentine's Day....hope that everyone's having a wonderful day! It's such an easy day to feel alone, but just so thankful for my family and for Bernie, the St. Bernard......it's such a relief to know that love isn't just limited to the romantic kind, but that it's all around in all different forms!😊(2.14.20)
when nick miller said “i’m not cracking.. i just got nothing to do” i felt that
Familiar pain
That hits differently.
We’d rather sign up for familiar pain vs unfamiliar pain. Familiar pain is like I know exactly what they’re gonna mess up on and even tho I don’t like it at least I know it.
