The director of the military administration in the central Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih reported at least ten people were killed there, with three more slain in the eastern town of Pokrovsk. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who is visiting Poland, stated that Russia has launched approximately 40 missiles at locations throughout the country. “Various cities include Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Sloviansk, and Kramatorsk—more than 40 missiles of different varieties. Mr Zelensky claimed that residential structures, infrastructure, and a children’s hospital were all damaged. Oleksandr Vilkul, the leader of the military administration in Kryvy Rih, said on the Telegram messaging app that at least ten people were killed and 31 were injured in the attack on the city. He stated that ten were critically wounded. Mr Zelensky’s hometown, Kryvy Rih, has been frequently targeted by Russia since it launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. The Russian bombardment came as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Moscow for a two-day state visit to Russia, where he is scheduled to meet with President Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin.
