Florida State shooting latest: 2 confirmed dead and 6 others wounded; shooter in custody

Two individuals lost their lives and at least six others were injured in a mass shooting on Thursday at Florida State University in Tallahassee, according to officials. The wounded, including one person in critical condition, are receiving care at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. Authorities confirmed that the two deceased were neither university students nor members of law enforcement.

A resolution will never be achieved until the cause is identified. The attacks dating back to 1950 have been in, what is identified as “weapon-free zones”. I know #commonsense isn’t very common, but what that tell me, the terrorists aren’t reading the signs or obeying the laws, and law abiding citizens are being targeted. My #military mind also tells me that the attackers have the element of surprise and know they can infiltrate the places identified by #law of least resistance. This doesn’t mean forcibly arm teachers and those who don’t want to protect themselves. This means remove the hindrances from licensed #citizens who do. If that means additional defense training for the #CHL requirements, then so be it.
