Not pictured but also present: fisherfolk, runners, walkers, morning folk (God bless you), commuters, folks preparing for a 5k/half marathon, target personnel that gifted me 4 mini Twix because i really needed fuel and I forgot to bring it — THANK YOU, even though you were skeptical of my need, you finally gave into my desperation? Thank you, nonetheless— birds, cats, squirrels, little league youth, and me.

I can’t believe I completed, because I want to give up during several parts of this run. (Mile 6, Mile 11, Mile 15, Mile 17…but I did it) 20 miles!
