[Sea Salt Ice Cream!]⠀ ⠀ -----------⠀ ⠀ A redraw of my old artwork that I did back in the year 2007! You can find the old drawing on my Twitter or Instagram, but be warned! It will illicit 'The Cringe' on your face.... Even so, it was my most popular artwork back then! And I was really proud of it!⠀ I've mentioned this on my Twitter, but I am always insecure of my art. Redrawing this gave me that little bit of confidence! I still have a lot to learn; anatomy, background, colours, composition, perspective, heck, maybe everything! But I am looking forward to more improvement in the future!⠀ ⠀ Here's to many more years of drawing!

2007 against 2019 (3 days ago)

I saw that people were doing this, and I thought it was a nice testimony of life, where we come from, how we've grown as humans, and where we're going.

I can honestly say, I am in a happy place and it changes my entire outlook on life, and how to approach living to the fullest. I am grateful for all that has happened as it made me into who I am today

OK can you tell that in the first two photos I was constantly dissociated and self-medicating? Looking back, I see my body as thin and fragile-looking compared to how sturdy I’ve always felt. For many folks, gaining ~100lbs feels like the most burdensome, awful thing that could happen alongside age. For me, I feel so much more myself and fully embodied and able to care for myself in a fatter body—plus the catcalls and bullshit from men has all but vanished! Despite my chronic health issues, my body is strong and almost magical in its resilience!
