Autumn Bench by Canal "Don't need a map to get there You can get there from anywhere When you're goin' in your head..." Hello my friends! Another photo I took before joining Flickr : ) Taken on an October morning in 2015... there was a light frost over the field & grass, a slight mist hovering the water, and leaves were beginning to fall faster. I somehow seemed to have this area & moment to myself that morning! Empty benches sat around this lovely canal, fallen leaves washed along its pathway... and autumn trees & sky reflected in its water. Thought I'd get this one in before the next Fall season begins. I know some of you, like myself, enjoy this beautiful time between summer & winter! And yes, I did sit down on the bench and watch the world for a while : ) I'll never forget that moment, the colors and the crisp air. My skills as a photographer may (or may not) be better now, but this picture encompassed exactly what I was experiencing that particular day. I believe it's a different composition than I would have taken now, but that shows some style changes in my captures & this might also standout from my other 'park bench' photos because of that. p.s. This picture was taken on same day as my 'Heart Tree (Marcus & Olivia)' photo!
