Who’s Laurel? 😭😭

The bittersweet special episode showcased Ashley’s dementia and highlighted how his condition caused him to see places and people he knew as literal strangers. It also saw Aaron played by Bryan Parry for most of the episode. This, to me, was the last time the show handled a mental health/issues focused storyline with dignity and integrity to the character that wasn’t down to a plot slant (probably also down to the fact it was started while KO’s was still in charge). Written by none other than Maxine Alderton.
