Hello dear Tumblr friends! I apologize for the unintentional two week break from this lovely site but I was dealing with some personal issues and needed to take some time to focus on my mental state. Unfortunately, when I work on taking care of myself that usually means eating whatever I want in large quantities which is exactly what happened this time. I do not regret my decision or that I turned to food for comfort but I am ready to get back on track.
Stepping on the scale this morning for the first time since deliberately putting food first found me back up to 221 pounds, 10 pounds higher than I weighed prior. Yes, I realize some of it is water weight and can be attributed to all the Chinese food I ate last night. Hopefully it’s not too stubborn coming off this time.
I look forward to feeling better mentally and physically. Here’s to increased activity through my walks (even though it’s horribly dark out and all I want to do is stay inside and hibernate), tracking my foods through MFP again and consistently posting here to stay accountable.
My goal is to get under 200 by January 1st. Through persistence and continued focused effort I know I can do this.
