BOOKS READ IN 2018: ↳ Even The Darkest Stars ★★★★★ and All The Wandering Light ★★★★ by Heather Fawcett
“I wanted to be an explorer more than anything in the world. I wanted to traverse glaciers and map wilderness and sleep underneath a roof of stars. I wanted to push against the world and feel it push back.”
I loved this book so much! And reading this reminds me of how much I love Madeleine L'Engle and how much I want to read (and re-read) everything she wrote! . I shouldn't really be surprised given how much I love L'Engle's Wrinkle in Time books. And this book gives us her thoughts on everything from theology, writing, children’s education, writing books for children vs. adults, and more. . There is also encouragement here for those who want to see their own books published: A Wrinkle in Time was rejected 26 times before it was published! . In my attempt to read more this year (especially self care/self help books in helping me overcome my self doubt and confidence) so glad I stared in the year with this funny and witty Sarah Knight read 😂💕🌸👌🏽

People will believe anything if it means they can go on with their lives and not have to think too hard about it.
