2019 has been a really hard year. I won't lie: it's actually been the worst year of my life. I've never felt so low. I've never felt so defeated. I've never felt so forgettable. I've never felt so replaceable. I've never felt so insignificant. I've never felt so insecure. And that took a hard toll on my ability to draw, especially in the last three months and a half. In the past years, whenever I felt down, I used to express myself with art, and that usually helped me to cope and feel better. But not this time. That's what made me actually realize how bad it was. And it made me freak out. But, during the last months I also realized how lucky I am, because I have just a few close friends, but they are really the best human beings I have ever met. They've been super supportive and patient and caring. And I'm super grateful I have them in my life. 🖤 One of my new year resolutions for 2020 is to regain my ability to draw and to be able to feel proud of my art.
