Affirmation: Black joy is an act of resistance. Therefore, I will continue to smile, to dance, to laugh, to live. I will continue to push beyond all things designed to hold me back. I will continue to fight in the name of freedom and thrive each and every day. I will never give up on myself. I can not lose. I will win.

Affirmation: I am capable of accomplishing any goal I set my mind to. I am a powerful creator and I will devise the ideal life for myself. Every unforeseen obstacle is not to be feared but seen as a moment to stop, learn and persevere. I will not apologize for having confidence in myself, even at my lowest, and aligning my actions accordingly. What is for me is already mine and there is nothing anyone can do to take that away from me.

All that I need to continue to evolve was placed inside me by God and emerges from me by the support of my ancestors. I do not need anyone to elevate me. I can do that all on my own.
Affirmation: I choose to have peace despite the chaos. Moments when I am afraid, I will lean on God and ask for protection and understanding. I will continue to press forward and seek things that nuture my spirit. I know that there is a light at the end of this dark tunnel and I know that with time everything will be alright.
