Can you explain more about the Umbro sweatshirt and timeline? I wasn’t in the fandom then and I want to understand the excitement that was felt then! Thanks!

So on July 2nd 2020, Eleano posted this picture of Louis wearing the Umbro shirt to her IG story:
It was exciting bc Louis was super MIA during lockdown, and we only got to see him very few times.
His fashion account identified the shirt as a 90s unique vintage shirt, AKA hard to find and one of a kind:
Then, after reportedly isolating at home with friends in LA for months Harry is spotted back in the UK on June 12th 2020. He spends much of June and July and August between England and Italy.
Louis was pretty much entirely MIA this whole time, except for being placed in London (BLM) on June 6th. London again in July. Being MIA in August except for Eleno’s insinuation of their trip to Antigua. Then spotted at a football game w/ Oli in September, as well as at a pub in Oxfordshire.
Louis was MIA when Harry was spotted wearing his shirt, but they were both in London, obvs.
A week before going back to Italy again to film Golden, on September 18th 2020, a fan runs into Harry walking down the street in London and takes a picture with him:
Harry’s fashion account identifies the Umbro shirt as the same vintage unique Umbro shirt from the 90s:
And yes, it is the same shirt, same material, same color, same texture. It’s the same shirt:
It was incredible because we hadn’t seen anything like this in so long. They used to share clothes frequently during the band. But this is different because they’re not together 24/7 touring so wearing the same shirt carries a bit more weight. Not to mention that the narrative goes that they haven’t even seen each other since 2016. So this shows that that couldn’t be further from the truth.
