Below is a summary of the different fics I’ve posted this year! Thank you to everyone who has supported me and my works <3 it means more to me than you all know.

JANUARY through MARCH - Swan Feathers, chapters 6 through 15 (HxH)
General summary: swan lake au
Excerpt: "You just saw me transform into a swan and you think—" Killua threw his head back with a laugh but it sounded wrong. It sounded unhappy, forced, a tinge of hysteria coloring the edges. "C'mon, Gon. You're smarter than that. Do you really think I'd be this adamant about not telling you anything if it was safe?"

Excerpt: “Killua,” Gon sighs. He’s surprised he has to spell this out for him. Killua’s usually so smart. “I’m the one who gave you this mark back when I saved you in that storm. It means you’re my mate. And that in turn means I get half of your body’s abilities and you get half of mine. I can talk and spend long periods of time above water because you’re human and that’s how you live. You could probably breathe underwater, if you wanted, because that’s where I live.”
MAY - 5 Times Gon Was Jealous (HxH)
General summary: canon universe, jealous Gon throughout the ages
Excerpt: “I—I didn’t like seeing the way those guys looked at you, okay?” Gon blurts out. “I didn’t like how they were offering to be your partner when I’m already your partner. I know other Hunters have nen, but I’m strong, too! I’ve been trying so hard to prove I can still keep up with you and the thought of someone else taking my place is…” Gon looks at the floor, blinking rapidly.
JUNE - Dragons vs Foxbears (HxH)
General summary: college au, Gon and Killua are on rival sports teams
Excerpt: “I can’t believe you,” Killua mutters. “Yesterday you wanted to punch me and now you want to—to, what? Date me? Why would you want that, we don’t even go to the same college!”

General summary: vigilante Gon takes Killua as hostage and the spend the night running away together
Excerpt: Gon turns, walking back towards the restaurant. As his footsteps grow faint, Killua slumps back against the bench with a groan. He drags his nails down the side of his face and prays his blush fades before Gon comes back. He can’t entertain this, whatever ‘this’ is. He won’t entertain this. It would never work out between him and Gon. His parents would never allow it. But even so, he can’t help but hear Gon’s soft voice echo in his head—if you had a choice, what would you choose?
SEPTEMBER - Running Start, chapter 5 (HxH)
General summary: high school soulmates au, only soulmates can kiss
Excerpt: Killua’s first thought upon kissing his soulmate in the nurse’s office is ‘oh’. His second is ‘this is kind of nice’. Gon’s thumb strokes Killua’s cheeks and his lips are warm and Killua is dizzy from the burst of joy that blooms in his chest and spreads through his body in a rush.
OCTOBER - A Dream Come True (HxH)
General summary: modern au, Gon and Killua reunite after being separated for years
Excerpt: “You haven’t changed!” Killua cried. “You did the same thing five years ago! You pushed me away and chased after your own dreams and you think—you think that some sweet words will be enough for me to fall back into your arms? Do you think I’ll just melt against you and swear I’ve never given up on you, even though you gave up on us? Is that really what you think, Gon?”
DECEMBER - The Secret of Gift Giving (HxH)
General summary: modern holiday au, Killua gets Gon as his Secret Santa assignment but doesn’t know what to get him
Excerpt: In fact, everyone seems to be tied together by Gon’s sheer charisma. Palm had dated Gon back in college for a short while. Zushi was Gon’s childhood friend. Gon befriended Meleoron during a hiking trip through the desert and Meleoron had brought Ikalgo along to a happy hour one night. Both Hanzo and Knuckle beat Gon in an arm wrestling match. And so on and so forth. They all knew each other because they all knew Gon. So that makes Gon the glue for everything. Gon is the magnet. Gon is the center. And Killua has barely said two words to the man because Gon is always surrounded by everyone else trying to get a second of his attention. It’s a frustrating situation to be in. But at least Killua has plenty of sources to get gift advice from.
