anyways i was a bit too hyped for this prompt (〜￣▽￣)〜 im gonna be honest as soon as i saw it on the list i knew i was gonna draw them pfppt- i know they aren’t super popular but they’re certainly my favorite villains :D i wish we would have gotten an episode dedicated to them in ahkj.. like think about it. just them trying and failing to kill king julien for like 20 mins straight….. glorious. but yeah this is my favorite piece i’ve drawn so far ahah-

2021 Madagascar Party Theme 1 - Penguins

The Boys in Black & White

it May not be the best, but it’s the least I could do. My designs for them is a combination between their movie and show looks. In fact, if you look closely, Rico has both a chip on the right side of his beak, and tuft of slicked back feathers on his head from the Penguins of Madagascar Movie, and also scruffy feathers on his head, and his scar on the left side of his beak from the show itself. The Penguins of Madagascar (the team, not the show or the movie) are black & white because that’s their color scheme, which I thought was a nice touch, and was pretty fitting since they’re secret agent/military soldier penguin.

Karl — my fave antag. he appeared and made me happy. he got something cute and he is definitely queercoded, like Julien and Mort

Koto — the scariest imo. loved his edginess and ?? coolness ?? can i say that? he seemed powerful and was definitely quite sadistic… and queercoded. then again irl Indris (mountain lemurs) are on the way to go extinct… sad

Karen — i can literally say nothing about her?

i first wanted to add Khan, but i kinda dislike him and his existence. also i can’t even say if Pam is villain in this context??
