同僚に誘われて、大縣神社で梅を見てきました。桜の花見は毎年どこかしらで見ているけれど、梅の花見は初めてかもしれない。
桜みたいな華やかさはないんでしょ？と思っていましたが、これはこれで見応えありますね。華やかさではなく、静かというか、素朴というか、枝が目立つためか骨太な感じ。より日本的な美しさのような気がします。
大縣神社の絵馬はクローバー型。大縣神社の中にある「姫之宮」は縁結びや安産の神様だそうです。田縣神社と合わせて奇祭とかで語られることもありますが、神社の歴史は遡ると紀元前(！)とかで相当古いようです。
かなり陽が傾いた時間帯だったためかほとんど人もおらず、ゆっくり回ることができました。

梅の花いろいろ。一度に全部が満開になっているわけではなく、日当たりの具合、種類によってもう散ってしまっているところやまだ全然咲いていないところもありました。ということは、それぞれ咲いたり散ったりで結構長い期間楽しめるんでしょうか？
花に近寄ってみてみると梅の良い香り。そして花の中央にツンツン生えているおしべが可愛い。猫のヒゲとおんなじようなカーブ具合だなぁ。
陽が沈みかけると結構冷えてきます。夕陽に照らされるしだれ梅も雰囲気あります。

大阪のチョコレートのお店、エクチュアさんのミントチョコです。
前回別の種類のチョコをいただいた時にも書いたのですが、チョコミン党員感謝感激、人権を得たような気分です。
前回は絶妙なミント具合だったのですが、こちらはがつんとミント！立派な歯磨き粉味で満足のミント感でした。
どうやら砕いたミントキャンディーが中に練り込まれているらしく、齧るとパリパリと音がしてアクセントになっています。
