13. spy x family season 2

i love this series ever since it was first coming out and i binged the manga (much like horimiya) before it aired as an anime >< i was super excited in particular for the 2nd season because i love yor and she has a huge amount of screentime in this season, as well as more and more cute moments from anya and bond, and ofc loid (just loid, i have a concerning attraction towards this man save me). but yeah animation, story, characters, are still all so great, and their ost is still on my mind even until now ~

I started watching Pluto.

How the hell can one episode make me cry!!!!

I never thought I would cry for a robot, but North No.2 story was so beautiful and sad. 😭😭😭😭. Why… just whyyyyyyyyy.

And that’s only a frist ep. Are there more stories like that in the manga/anime?

my happy marriage

i don't even normally watch period-type dramas (even if it's with a twist) but i stuck through it because of the wholesome moments these two had, plus the animation is sublime, OSTs are banger, and the entire character development that miyo had was relatable in more ways than one 🥺

this one definitely tugged on my heartstrings a lot. might be a bit too much for some people, and the ending did seem abrupt, but there seems to be a second season so i'm looking forward to what else they have in store!

8. zom 100 bucket list of the dead

a slow burn but well worth the wait- really has a unique spin on the zombie genre. the art and animation is fantastic and each episode has a lesson or two about life and what it means to live in general! plus seeing each character grow in their own ways after challenging their own backstories is what i enjoyed the most! (as someone who loves characters).

episode 1 is so so good. one of the best episode 1s of a series in a while

9. ikenaikyo

just a cute and wholesome anime, a hidden gem imo for 2023 if you just want a turn-your-brain-off, adorable rom-com with a decent enough plot! (i also am a saori hayami fan and she voices the girl i drew, charlotte!)

7. hoshikuzu telepath

it's a typical story about a shy girl wanting to find a place to belong and have friends but this was done in such a realistic and very heartfelt way (even tho the pink haired girl is an alien lmao). i highly recommend this anime to those who want something a bit diff from your typical CGDCT (tho ngl this has a lot of yuri/yuri bait haha)

5. saint cecilia and pastor lawrence

so wholesome and so vanilla and it just screams cuteness-- though it might not be everyone's cup of tea because it tackles religion in a very different way.

but if you have an open mind and if you like simple romances nonetheless, then this is a must-watch for sure! the art style is so adorable and the ost is so soothing >< (im just a sucker for cute romance anime)

11. the yuzuki family's four sons

i love the four brothers and how they all have been taking care of one another since the passing of their parents T_T it's a feel good, really tearjerking story that also has some comedic scenes ~ i love the stories that they tell and it gives some really good life lessons about family, friendship, relationships, and loss huhu

i just love this anime so much, one of my faves from last year frfr
