Tsukishima Kei - From the Start
From the start, Tsukishima Kei has always known about volleyball ever since he was young. His older brother loves volleyball, so naturally, he had to show that to his younger brother and tell him all about the sport. Kei had always looked up to Akiteru and puts a great amount of trust in him. He is the one that has always been in his life since he was born. After all, that smile of his would never hurt him.

That is until one day, he finds out the truth.
Why was his big brother in the stands cheering for Karasuno instead of wearing the uniform and playing volleyball for the team? What was he doing there? Why did he not let Kei see the games? Or even tell him the truth about everything that has been going on in his life?
...
That moment had shattered his faith Kei had in the sport. Kei would hold a lot of questions and resentment about the game for a long time, but he had never once thought about leaving the sport for good. He wanted to know the reasons why his brother thought that volleyball means everything to him. Why is this sport so important to everyone?
...
Yamaguchi and the others on the team seem to have a reason why they play volleyball and train so hard on their free time, but Kei isn't the type to overexert himself like that. He knows his own limitations and skill level, but he does not try to exceed past them. What's the point, right? With all sports in general, they would all lose at some point after all. Why not use all that energy into something that actually matters?
...
However, Kei's curiosity gets the best of him, and being surrounded by a lot of volleyball players seem to have piqued his interest even more. Bokuto, being one of the top players in Japan shares his own experiences with him and tells him that one day, Tsukki will have his moment, and when that time comes, he too will understand the importance of volleyball.
...
Until the moment comes, Kei will continue to play the game and search for the answers he keeps seeking from the start.

Since I hyperfixate on shows/series that I like, I normally make edits on certain characters I love or on characters with angst behind them. For this, I love the AvA/AvM series, and Green was and still is my favorite when an old companion recommended this series to me 2 years ago.
So, I made this edit a while back, and even after rewatching it now, I'm proud of the outcome! Enjoy!
