#Repost @friendsofnewarkahs (@get_repost) ・・・ Today we'd like to celebrate two of our longer timer MAMA dogs, Dasat and Ashley; they have been at the shelter since April 12 and May 8, respectively. Both of these beautiful dogs were clearly bred several times, and then dumped at a large city shelter once their owners were done exploiting them. Sadly, statistically we will see many of their puppies at the shelter too in a year or so.. sometimes less (I myself am convinced recently adopted Max (#21754) was one of Ashley's puppies!) and some of those puppies will be used to make more puppies which then end up at shelter and circle on and on and on... Stop buying any sort of bully puppies and spay/neuter! This is the ONLY way to STOP this vicious cycle that only hurts the pups - the most overbred dog and the most in shelters - that defies logic...
