The cast of characters and even the location for Louis' shindig last night were all familiar repeats from 2015 and earlier, but some things were different, namely Louis doing his pap walk with Lottie with everyone else far enough away from them that they went unnamed and unacknowledged in the mainstream press. Also a stark contrast to times past were the siblings' smiling giggly faces. Even Fizzy is on board with this, liking a side-by-side of the two in sadder times vs last night's happy faces. They were cuddly and cute and fans appreciated all of this very much as well as Louis' long fringe and stylish look.

Not appreciated- the tabloids selecting the only bad pap pic and using it to imply he was a mess. And... Lottie, apparently? Some people are upset that Louis was papped with his sister? Idek about that one y'all. In a more familiar complaint, people are unhappy E was there. But if the blatant sidelining of her doesn't cheer you up, this should- I know I've been laughing all day. Today Eleanor fans tell us she was relegated to the shadows because, and seriously are you ready for this- she's "known to hate cameras!" This is truly a gem, remember this day because you can be sure this blog will be referencing this dada-esque theory for a long long time to come.

Speaking of surreal, on the subject of the mysterious rumor that Cirque le Soir is "bdsm themed"- it's just not. It's an upscale circus themed venue Louis and the lads have used for these types of events in the past (that event booker Annas probably gets a commission for placing them at.) This discourse is based on zero percent reality sorry weirdos.

Meanwhile, though the good reviews are nice, the grumbles over the weird and unprofessional roll out and promo of Icarus Falls are growing louder as things get weirder (videos disappearing in some countries for example) and promo remains inconsistent. Many feel the label is punishing Zayn for not toeing the line. And speaking of inconsistent, Gigi Hadid's cousin told a fan via IG dm that Zayn and Gigi have been broken up for months and continue to be.

But in uncomplicated news, the celeb mix award results are in and the winner is.. us! Best fandom, directioners woooo we're number one! Oh yeah also the boys won stuff- Liam got single of the year (Familiar), Harry got best tour, Louis was voted most inspirational, and Zayn won for best male artist. Additional stuff: some official video from Liam's VR concert is out, with lots of sweet footage of him taking pics with fans in the line and Harry liked a Kacey Musgraves pic advertising her Drag Race appearance.
