22 pushups (and 22 squats) to honor vets Day 21 of 22, I was nominated by @jobohart Josiah Hart to do 22 push-ups (and I added 22 squats) a day for 22 days to raise awareness for combat veterans. Today, I nominate @esikmelland Erik also! The rules are simple: * Once you are nominated your 22 days start the following day. * Every day you record yourself doing 22 push-ups. Do them in any way you can. Effort is what counts…not form. * Every day you must nominate a different person. * And finally, have fun with this. This is a simple and interactive way to get the word out about a matter that we must continue to shed light on. Studies show, we lose 22 veterans a day to suicide, and the hope is this small act shows our teammates they are never alone. We must continue to address the stigma surrounding mental health and proactively remove any guilt, shame, or resistance which stands in the way to seeking care. After all, LOVE is the biggest weapon we have against this…God Bless you and God Bless America! 🇺🇸 #22forvets #FitPastor #FitOfficer #FitDeputy #FitCop #FitLEO #FitFireighter #FitChaplain #FitFrontline #ThinBlueLine #FitBlueLine #Fit4Service #Fit4Duty #Fit4Ohana #AlwaysCan #MonkeyBarGym #TacFit @ Gypsum, Colorado (at Eagle County, Colorado) https://www.instagram.com/p/CD4W5dVJk7A/?igshid=wjajdyoj05y0
