Had a very overstimulating day and nearly forgot to post this. Tomorrow more chores. Need to get my glucose test done and a few other labs sometime in the next month.

24 weeks

✅ We are nearly done teething with his bottom canines finally growing in! Things look good on that front too - I was really worried the lowers were going to be funny and cause problems. He has learned to lay down to play with Dax, to Dax's great excitement. He still loves everyone and every animal, so a lot of my training is going into neutrality when in public and on walks.

❌ Turns out the boy DOES understand the concept of loose leash walks but doesn't feel it's worth his time unless there is cheese involved. So. Here we are. 🤦 He also isn't understanding Kipo's signals to buzz off, which is understandable considering Dax hisses whenever he is mildly inconvenienced and doesn't actually mean it. So that's another thing to work on with him.

I am out of town on a family trip today and a friend is gonna take him ALL DAY to play with his crazy energy hunting dog. Maybe the man will finally take a nap.
