Today's victories: 1. I FINALLY BROKE 170!!!!! I haven't been below 170 for 20 years. Plateau is busted! 2. I blew my cardio calories burned out of the water! Almost 450 calories in 40 minutes with NO running today. Cardio calories usually are around 370. I was actually only about 1/10th of a mile less than normal, as well. That just means I was booking it on walking and walking faster for a longer period of time. 3. I pushed it at 160 lbs on the back extension for about half my reps before realizing I'd accidentally went up 15 pounds instead of 5. The remaining reps were easy peasy after that. LOL! So, that was about 80 reps at 160 and 80 at 145. 4. Free weights. Lord, how I love them!!! I didn't hit the circuit machines today for my arms, but went for free weights instead. My arms, shoulders and back simultaneously hate and love me. I'll definitely be doing these on a regular basis. 5. I went up to 100 reps from 75 on the abdominal crunch machine. WINNING! I could barely do 35 when I started on that machine in December. 6. I can see consistent progress in comparing photos offer the past almost 3 months of working out. This photo especially shows the differences. Things are tightening and toning and getting better.
