ok hear me out stan and bill meeting again at some point when they’re in their early/mid twenties. Bill’s first book has just come out. It’s a hit. Stan is a fan. He goes to one of Bill’s author events to get a signed copy and see Bill talk about the book idk. Anyways when it’s Stan’s turn to get a signed copy Bill is shook. Because who is this beautiful stranger??? And why does he look…oddly familiar? And also Bill wants to ask him out. (Bit of backstory, Bill is bi and messed around with guys in college. Stan is gay and lives with Patty, who is a lesbian, and they’re basically each other’s beards) Stan thinks Bill is hella hot too. Why wasn’t there a picture of him on the back cover??? Anyways after Stan gets his book signed he goes out to the coffee shop nearby, and not ten minutes later, while Stan is trying to peacefully drink his tea, (yes he drinks tea fucking fight me) Bill Denbrough comes running towards him and stops in front of his table gasping and breathless. Stan nearly drops his fucking tea. “Can i help you?” he asks. Bill’s never really done this before, to be honest. What is he supposed to say to this beautiful man??? He chokes for a second, then stutters out, “g-g-g-go out with me?” Stan blinks at him. “What.”
