28 Days of Commander Shepard (Day 5)

5 // What If: If Shep wasn't a soldier, what would they have been? What did they want to be as a child?

She never really wanted to be anything but a soldier. Although, deep down I like to think that she harbours the secret wish she could be a Ballerina   She tried to take classes when she was first cleaning herself up to join the Alliance (Thinking that the balance and agility it taught would help.) but she never had the time or the money to keep going. Now all she knows is how to do pointe work and stretches. Which is why she get's pouty when the crew makes fun of her dancing.

28 Days of Commander Shepard (Days 3 and 4, I am a bit behind)

3 // Starchild: How was Shep’s childhood? Friends, schooling - did they like where they grew up?

Jude grew up on the streets of Chicago, it was rough as she dipped in and out of different juvenile care facilities. Her only real friend was Merrick but she was nice to everyone. Despite everything her favourite part of being sent  back to the homes was that they would send her to school as well. 

Jude loves Chicago (this is my own City love as well) no matter where she travels and no matter how at home she feels there her thoughts always returns to her city.

4 // My Bad Reputation: Is Shepard a War Hero, Sole Survivor, or Ruthless type? How does it affect them?

She's a War Hero and it shows in her actions with her crew. She hate's losing people and always thinks there was something else she could of done.

Granted this also mean's she's stupid about it sometimes and puts her self in the line of fire when it's not needed. Taking hits that she shouldn't need to.

2 // All in the Family: Did Shepard have siblings? Parents? How was their relationship with family members?

She was an Orphan on Earth, but she remembers her parent's They Died when she was 12 in a skycar crash. 

She has one Brother (who's not really her brother, but another Orphan who 'Adopted' her.) His name is Merrick and works as a chef at a restaurant near their home in Chicago. They are the best of friends and she loves him more than anything. When the Reapers hit she couldn't get a hold of him for over a month and when she finally did she spent 5 minutes screaming at him over the comm at why he didn't contact her sooner. Turns out  he was busy helping the street kids hide from the shock troops.

1 // Forget my Name: What is Shepard’s first and middle name? Are they important or meaningful names? How do they feel about their name?

Jude (Judith) Anne-Marie Shepard

Jude has been the name of my personal OC and every main RPG character I've had since I was 16.

She's named after the Beatles song "Hey Jude" (which yes, I know is about a boy but screw you)

I don't know where the Anne-Marie came from. I thought it just sounded good.

Jude loves her first name (well when people call her Jude, there three people who are allowed to call her Judith and two of them are dead) she could care less for her middle name
