One of the classic scenes from the pilot episode of The A-Team (despite frosty relations between the three actors in this clip). Originally broadcast in the US on 23 January 1983. I've read different dates for the UK - it was either the 22 or 29 July 1983 (the 22 may have been the pilot film with the first regular episode on 29 or perhaps different regions put it out on different dates). In any case it was a series that gave us some very memorable characters and catchphrases.

Starlord No. 12, dated 29 July 1978. This is the second of two covers that Brian Lewis did for the title. Some have noted a similarity between this image and that of a 1970 Dorian Gray movie poster (below) by Ted CoConis. It is similar but not enough that I would say this was a 'swipe'.

While it may have stood out on the newsagents shelf I've never liked this cover. From what I remember the main figure has no connection to any of the strips inside. I also think the Experience Body-Shock Now! tag is a bit weak as are the all the strip titles being written alongside his body. Might have worked better with an outline of a recognisable character such as Strontium Dog and then the other characters painted inside the outline.
