December 20th, 2025 (1/?) - ONGEKI, DJMAX Technika 3, Nostalgia, EZ2AC, Chrono Circle, Tetote x Connect, maimai PRiSM, DDR X2

HAPPYYYYYYYY HOLIDAYSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!! i know i'm writing this way far out into the future past the holiday season, but it's only now that i'm getting to writing about such a grand event that took place during such a chaotic season... said grand event being extremely chaotic in of itself! it is the annual, the great, the glorious...

...gamecenter Holiday Party!!! an action-packed overnight arcade event that runs from 8 PM today until 7 AM the next, and it'd be my first time attempting to pull an all-nighter to experience arcade gaming all night!! of course, i brought some snacks and made preparations before coming, like stocking up on energy drinks and making sure i slept beforehand (LIE) (I BARELY SLEPT EARLIER) (I'M SO DEAD), so that once the clock struck and the party began... i'd be Dancin' Allll Night!!! so as my sister was leaving somewhere else, i followed in her car, got to the arcade just a few minutes before start time, and slowly but surely... we were let into what would become the most night of our lives.

let's kick it off with some ONGEKI!!! been a while since i've played this because it's ALWAYS busy whenever i come to play, so it's surprising to see it open in an otherwise packed and busy arcade... yeahhhh, i horribly miscalculated just how many people would be here, and what was supposed to be Nonstop Hyper Ultra Gaming quickly turned into a night of wandering around the arcade figuring out what to play, what was open (besides beatmania), etc.... BUT!!! i got some compliments for my score on Party 4U relative to my rating which was nice!! ...though that's mostly just cuz i haven't bothered filling my New 15 or whatever...

like i said; every cab was busy and every one of the popular, common games seemed to have a line, so what you're about to see is the most random and confusing selection of scores from games that were the only ones open at the time... that's not to say they were bad scores though!!! in fact, some of the DJMAX TECHNIKA clears are really good!!! (some random games indeed though... bet you haven't seen CHRONO CIRCLE on this account in some time, huh? well, that's just because i haven't played it and the game went offline but... y'know...)

oh also they had Tetote x Connect on the card maker and it was unbelievably hilarious to play LMFAO, i should def try the real thing again though... again, too cramped to do any dances XwX

now for something a little more familiar: maimai!!! i had placed myself into the card queue due to the sheer volume of players here, and managed to pop in every so often when it was my turn, which led to some very random and funky scores including... an SS on ENERGY SYNERGY MATRIX [MASTER Lv13], beating my good friend Ron on Sirius no Kagayaki no you ni [Re:MASTER Lv14] AND on Tsunagite [Re:MASTER Lv15] with an 85% somehow (lol) before wandering back off after my set ended...

...to play some DDR X2!!!!!!! ironically i've been avoiding this game for fear that it was Too intensive and that i'd pass out asleep early if i tried playing it, buuuut i already played maimai, so what's another dance game in the mix? feeling bored of singles and craving a bit more spice though (perhaps also due to the Monster Energy affecting my thinking, i decided to play every song here on DOUBLES!!! this led to a most chaotic and tiring session indeed, but one that resulted in a lot of very solid Double 17 clears like New Decade [EDP-17], roppongi EVOLVED ver.D [EDP-16, though rated a 15 here], POSSESSION [EDP-17], DeltaMAX [EDP-17], aaaaand Anti-Matter [EDP-17] too!!! though as you can tell from the calorie counts... this was Tiring as Hell!!!! needed to take a break and recharge with electrolytes after this whole session, and it was already 2 AM!!!! or only 2 AM? dunno how to word it...

once i recharged and played in a little Umamusume showdown though, it was back to the grind -- starting with maimai, where a lot of the queue people had left and it was all just goofs, which led to these two funny scores from the shared play feature and also a few of my own in a following set (though with less favorable results due to my tiredness)

aaaaand that's unfortunately where this post will end off as i've already run out of image space . but don't fret!!! there may still be a lot more rhythm game scores to get through, but trust me they are all Very good and awesome and cool and you will love them... whenever i get around to making it, that is (this post alone took a good while, though less than i expected, so maybe soon...? just not tomorrow or maybe even the day after LOL) . October 12th, 2025 - beatmania THE FINAL, maimai DX PRiSM, CHUNITHM LUMINOUS PLUS, ONGEKI bright MEMORY

aaaand here's the Other big day!!! despite having gone to gamecenter until basically midnight last night, i was due today for Another meetup with friends that required my full attendance and attention . i was a little stressed the night before because i thought i wouldn't have any time at all to meet up with said friends for the sake of homework, but an accidental test taken at around 1 AM absolved me of that responsibility and thus i was able to attend without worrying about my tests and exams ... thus... I'M BACK IN THE FUCKING BUILDING AGAIN!!!! and starting strong with the most high-energy intense songs i could think of playing in beatmania, at that...! (funniest part was friends seeing me play the game and asking "how the hell can you read that it's like 30 fps)

once i managed to pry myself away from beatmania though, it was PERFORMAI SONG SUGGESTION TIME!!!! i asked around for people's ideas on what songs to play, and got quite a few suggestions from my fellow co-volunteers at the Full Combo team, so i did my best to play as much of them as possible...! (as well as some self-indulgent song picks i really wanted to try...) (also wtf for a 14 that Eta Beta Eta [MASTER 14] score is Insane, didn't know i could ball like that... or maybe i can't, gonna have to practice a teensy bit more than that...)

following that series, iiiiit's ONGEKI TIME!!!! been a while since i played this one, but Daaamn is it 1. very fun to play, 2. rather challenging yet enjoyable, and 3. very Insane-looking to those who don't no-life rhythm games like i do, what with the 6 buttons and 2 side panels and a middle control stick to top it all off LMFAO . again, this was mainly to play song suggestions, but i got to play some other songs i really enjoyed and set some records i thought i was too unskilled to set... still kinda filling out my best rating songs, after all!! and although i wasn't paying attention to it at all for the most part, one very lucky and very cool play on DIE IN [EXPERT 13] sealed the deal and pushed me up waaaaay past the 10 rating mark to finally become Purple!!! (though that just reaffirmed that there was indeed new version rating in here too... shucks, guess i'll have to sit down and play act 3 songs someday after all . but hey, maybe that means i can reach 12 or even 13 rating soon enough...? who am i kidding...

quick chunithm break before i headed out for a food break... scores unfortunately weren't too impressive, but i did get a sweet MAX-17 AJ on Blazing Break [MASTER 13+] thanks to yet another song suggestion i got!!

aaaaand it was right back to Chunithm once i got back!!! downscore, bad 15 sightread, not a very hype return, but ah well... it was already dark out anyways... and tragically didn't have enough time to unlock the great big Forsaken Tale boss that everyone's been begging me to play in the song suggestions... Fools!! It's not even that hype!!! It has the same CC as like 7 other songs in the latest version!!! i'm not goin through the whole unlock process for that!!!

just a bit more maimai to go before leaving for the day... some song suggestions, other self-indulgent picks, a few scores omitted across the post due to better scores achieved later and a lack of space due to tumblr post guidelines... and a very cool FC on Role-playing Game [MASTER 12+] and manimani [MASTER 12+]!!!! also a Veeeeeeery Small Teensy Tinsy Unnotable Upscore on Liar Dancer [MASTER 13] :3c

August 30th, 2025 (1/2) - IIDX 31, maimai PRiSM, ONGEKI, CHUNITHM LUMINOUS, WACCA PLUS

back at it AGAIN at the other local arcade, and this time i'm here with... not much bloodthirst honestly, just wanting to meet up with the same friend as last time and grind out a few games while i was at it :] as such, most of the iidx scores from this session were kinda washed compared to what i could've gotten at Round 1 . still makes for decent practice tho, and i got a sick new clear on m1dy Deluxe [SPA-11] despite the otherwise poor scores !!

buuuut once again, the real action and gaming was centered almost entirely on maimai!!! only one cab available at the moment, but not many others were here anyway, so i got to take advantage of that freedom to Game !!! ...i sorta sucked at it for a bit at first, but thanks to friend's song picks and banger suggestions, i powered through and played some absolute BANGER charts/songs to boost my skill and have fun while i'm at it!!! (even if many of the charts were 2hard4me without sufficient warmup LOL) . afterwards i also gave 8th dan a shot despite minimal warmup, only to get demolished by each song and ultimately perish at Kyuukurarin :[ next time, my turn..

played ongeki!!! i'm ever-so-slightly improving!!! hip hip hooray!!! (and of course, i had to play the funny 6K chart for rating . first 14 S i guess...? could be better if i upped my scroll speed but i need it low to read the actual bullet hell patterns LOL

waccing it (still in an eternal conflict on whether to take my score photos for this game vertically or horizontally -- tempted to take them the same way i take maimai photos, but there's nothing at the top to really capture, so Aghhhh (good charts and good songs tho!!! slowly but surely filling up my rating slots, still have a lot more grinding to do before i catch up to main...

went back to maimai to give 8th dan another try and (somehow) got an S-rank on everything EXCEPT the first (and easiest) song, but nevertheless... given it was much better than my first attempt and i actually took the time before the set to learn Kyuukurarin [MASTER Lv.13+], i locked tf in (also passing 13100 rating in the process :]) and secured the 8th damn daniel!!!! now i'm 8th dan in TWO games (i think) (the other being iidx)!!!!

y'know what, let's just make this a dan set and get 'em up in every game!!! running out of image space so i'm gonna have to make a followup post with my class/dan/stage results in WACCA, but getting the few chunithm scores out of the way first... it's Gaming!!! knocked out Class V's EXPERT BOSS RUSH course on my first* try and finally got the badge, while also trying another Class V course hoping i'd get an upgraded Class V badge!!! (spoiler alert: i didn't, but i got +0.01 rating and an overall SS on the 2nd course out of it!!!)

wish i could fit them all in a single post, but alas... tumblr limitations . maybe it was a mistake to make this archive on this platform for that reason... but nevertheless, i've got the very tiny wacca followup locked and loaded riiiight.... HERE!!!

June 21st, 2025 (1/2) - maimai DX PRiSM, ONGEKI, CHUNITHM LUMINOUS, IIDX 31, jubeat Ave.

another weekend, another gamecenter visit!! my first big visit in quite a while though, so i had to make this one as big as possible (given the past few visit attempts have been cancelled due to massive heatwaves across the state) . so with an unending list of song recommendations by twitter mutuals and friends, i was gonna make the most i could outta this session!!!

...or so i thought . as much as i didn't want to believe it, i was just Not performing anywhere near my best that day for whatever reason. besides a pretty impressive SS+ FC on Netsu Ijou/Heat Abnormal [MASTER Lv.12]; my scores were sloppy, i was getting outmogged and outscored by my friend who only started playing rhythm games last year, and i was lacking the motivation i needed to tackle some of the tougher recommendations given to me by my mutuals . it wasn't looking good, but i'd already bought entry and couldn't just take it back, so the session simply goes on...

(also forgot to mention earlier that my friend had somehow caught up and gotten his rating higher than mine in a few weeks time, which was INSANE to me!! him outperforming me so quickly??? he wasn't even Bronze last time we played together!!! so with some of the later scores, i was hellbent on getting back at him and improving my rating...)

so anyways here's me Not improving my maimai rating and instead having a holly jolly fun time on ONGEKI :] it was admittedly really fun, and i managed to clear all the song reccs given to me for this game specifically in ~20 minutes time!!!

moving on to The Other Game, i was kinda just playing aimlessly and seeing what kind of scores i could get with Premium Free and a dream . the answer? ...not very many that i didn't already have, besides an HC on LOVE IS ORANGE [SPL-10], an EXHC on the SPA-8, and an AA HC on 8bit Princess [SPA-10] (i ran it back later and almost got the EXHC, but choked on the final stream using MIRROR to make the middle stream easier and lost it all...)

but now, jubeat time!!! surprisingly yes, i did get some song reccs and respective scores here!!! were they good? ...eh, some of them were . regardless, it was really fun and was up there with ONGEKI in how much i enjoyed it this session :] highlights from the sightreads include my first 10 clear from 1116 [ADVANCED 10.2], an S on Dopamine [ADVANCED 8], clears on Go For The Top [EXTREME 9.5] and Din Don Dan [EXTREME 9.1] (+ an SSS FC on the ADVANCED 7 of the latter), PUNISHER [EXTREME 9.1], and whatever the last song is called [EXTREME 8]

more maimai (and last few bits of maimai for the day): still feeling kinda washed, but at least i got quite a few upscores and rating boosts for the day :]

May 25th, 2025 - maimai DX PRiSM, IIDX 31, ONGEKI, CHUNITHM LUMINOUS (1/2)

and now for the big aforementioned arcade day!!! this is gonna be yet another long one, so strap yourselves in for an unforgettable luncheon of... rather uninterrupted rhythm gaming this time around!!! since this arcade i've been visiting for a little while went retail, there's not a lot of people coming for paid arcade free play gaming... but i sure as hell am!!! so satiated by a pre-arcade snack, water bottle/gloves/headphones in bag, and seeking out requests from my online mutuals to play during the session, i got right to the (single-person) queue and mai'd some mais!!! (the latter two rows were separately played after a bit of iidx, whose scores you'll see in the next paragraph...)

now for the iidx scores i played between the first three maimai scores and the latter six!!! taking a bit of a risk with sharing these, but had some nice scores getting used to this cab and changing all my settings :] i even cleared epolis 8th dan with a slight misconfiguration all throughout the last song (which also almost led to my death w)

quick intermission: NOISZ!!! GAMING!!!! it's been so long since i've played arc coda, and admittedly i haven't gotten any better.... but hey! i cleared another level 5! surely that's something... surely...

switch to the next game: ONGEKI!!! another super fun game with a few song recommendations from twitter, slowly but surely building up my game rating while i'm at it (6.49 rating reach!!!)

continuing the maimai grind, i only truly played one set before the next big game... but it's a pretty funny set!!! it's a set with a friend who was at the arcade for a little bit, and he's been on a super long mission to clear Tsunagite [RE:MASTER 15]. so, me having already warmed up and having nothing better to play, i joined him along for his journey... only to clear it on my FIRST TRY OF THE DAY and beat out his dozens upon dozens of runs on this very chart... I'M DA BEST

BUT NOW!!! IT'S TIME FOR THE NEXT BIG GAME OF THE HOUR!!! the one, the only, CHUNITHM LUMINOUS!!! yes, we finally upgraded to the funny pink version, and since it was fully up to date too... it had the SUPER HOT BEAUTIFUL ADORABLE PRETTY DOG WIFE SONG!!!!!! (and character too!!!) . goodbye MIR-203 selene cheryl... you served me well for the longest time, but i have a New main now... (oh right, after a few tries and a few random chokes, i got a 4-justice AJ run on her song??? holy shit??? def my best chuni acc score to date....)

February 22nd, 2025 - maimai BUDDiES PLUS, ONGEKI, Arcaea, Just Dance

last day of maimai before yet another hiatus!! it ain't much, but i got a decent amount of cool scores and rating increases thanks to new version scores and stuff :] wish i could've played more, but demand is huge/lines are long/was way too busy with a university conference before i could make it :[ (least there's hand in hand utage to make up for it www)

but on the bright side, i also got to play some ONGEKI for the first time in an even longer while!! it was pretty fun!!! We Gonna Journey is such a banger omgggg i'm gladd i got an AAA on it w

on the arcaea side: tried doing a challenge that required me to get an AA on this song, lost -0.03 PTT as a result, i hate this fucking game so much . but if arcaea don't got me, i know Just Dance My GOAT got me!!! i know i already had a sort of arm workout with maimai, but i felt like i didn't get enough... so hey!! a 12911 on Mr. Saxobeat!! potential new FP target...

December 22nd, 2024 (1/2) - DJMAX Technika, EZ2AC, ONGEKI, maimai BUDDiES PLUS, CHUNITHM SUN, Groove Coaster

well, that's quite the title!! but contrary to unpopular belief, this post won't be able to cover EVERY score i got this session, and is thus the reason this session is also a two-parter. but fret not, this one's chock full of good scores that'll make both posts worth the trouble of writing and reading!!! so to finally get it over with and move on to my future sessions, let's begin with a new game not seen in the first post -- DJMAX Technika 3!!!! and by GOD this game is still hard as hell, i can't even finish a set in star mixing without failing out, despite how close i was...

continuing the korean arcade gaming spree with EZ2AC!!! i was up and ready to kick ass and set some new records on my favorite songs, and i did just that in a single score!!! out of all of these, the only new clear from this session was Minus 2 [NM 9], but i set some really cool upscores on SND [NM 9] and 20000000000 [NM 10] too!

and perhaps the biggest surprise of the morning -- ONGEKI was free and open to play!!! i almost always see this game occupied, meaning i don't get to play it as often, but now i had the perfect chance, and unlike the scores that i kept accidentally skipping (it happened AGAIN this session), i wouldn't let the opportunity to play pass me by once more!!! and so i gamed, getting decently impressive scores for someone that didn't really play this game, and i even almost got an S on Donut hole [Master 13]!!!! i didn't even know i could do that well on 13s...

but at last!!! after all the non-maimai rhythm games due to my late arrival when everyone was already queued up for it, it was my turn to play maimai once more!! i was... admittedly a bit hesitant to play, as my palms and arms still hurt like hell from yesterday, but it seems some of the pain subsided after a while and i was able to play 12+s and 13s like normal once again!!! the 13 i decided to play first? ...Rush-More . hear me out though!!! it's such a fun chart, and it goes to the music perfectly!!! you can't blame me for that now, can you??

back to chunithm, where i tried giving Ignition a runback after my poor attempt from yesterday, and holy hell did i manage a massive improvement!!! yet another 2-attack FC for an SSS+ on Ignition [Master 13+], as well as a sudden SS+ on Daitoushi=Klein Vogel Spiel=Erika [Master 14+] to get the rating back that i lost from it??? and with such insane plays over the course of yesterday and today, i achieved 16.25 rating!!!! rainbow and a quarter get!!!

it'd be a bit too long to include these images separately, as all three are tall vertical images, so i'll be including two ONGEKI scores and a single Groove Coaster score in the same line . starting with the ONGEKI scores... a decent batch of tough scores!!! admittedly, the Party 4U "holy nite mix" [Master 13] score is sorta bad, i know, but i think i made up for it with my awesome much cooler S-rank score on Air [Expert 12]!!!! now, as for the groove coaster score... it's just a silly little failed attempt to unlock Level 13 charts, a very tragic 895k on Sadomami holic [Hard 12]... and unfortunately, i did Even Worse on my second run!!! what a depressing conclusion...

though as soon as my spirits were plunging, i was revitalized as i saw that i was next in line for some maimai!!! it was the usual ass-kicking routine i've come to know and love, but i actually did get some pretty decent scores along the way... like an S rank on IDSMILE [Master 12+] at long last!!! also just gonna bunch up these scores from my next turn while i'm at it, because that's when the daily stamps reset and i finally got Otohime (BUDDiES) as a partner!!! my collection of beautiful pink haired rhythm game girls continues to grow... and so does my skill, as evident by the MASSIVE upscore to S+ on Grievous Lady [Expert 12] ever since my last really bad attempt on it back when i was baby...

chunithm only has three scores left from this session, so i'll bunch 'em up here for convenience . i wasn't really sure what to play, but i knew i still wanted to increase my rating up to at least 16.30 by the end of this session... did i do it? well, not really . after clearing a task track/map challenge, i gave Re : End of a Dream [Master 14+] a try to see how i could do on the chart, and i did surprisingly good for a sightread!! and on the next attempt i secured an SS+ to give me a massive +0.02 rating boost!!! however, my hubris got the best of me, and i lost -0.01 of that rating to a song that i unfortunately don't remember . it was super demotivating, and i just gave up on chunithm entirely for the day given how weak i was feeling and how hard it'd be to reach the coveted 16.30 rating. maybe next time when i'm not feeling so exhausted, but here's BlazinG AIR [Master 14] to conclude (also part of my demotivation, cause that chart is hard asf)

ACC GOD KAPS IS BACK AND READY TO ROLL IN MAIMAI!!! once again, it was my turn up on the cab, but -- unlike my previous sets of bruteforcing 12+s and 13s, i wanted to cool down for a bit and play some easier charts . was it with a side intention of gaining rating? maaaaybe . but was it worth the scores and the relaxation? HELLYEAH !!! one such score was a sweet sightread SSS+ on a random task track, Baddest [Expert 10+], but the other was on a really surprising and really good pack... not only was it SSS, but it was a FULL COMBO on Yoidore Shirazu [Master 11+]!!! ...and of course, i went on to destroy my acc credibility by tackling Idol [Re:Master 13]

we're nearing the final hours of the mega session, and i'm sorta running out of scores to fit in this post (bleeding slowly but surely into the second part), but i believe there's still a few slots to fit in here!!! so then, with four more images left to share here, i might as well keep the maimai ball rolling given there's exactly three more scores of it left to share (and also so i don't have to tag the next post with 2dkaps maimai www) . the title of the coolest score this session probably goes to my INCREDIBLE S+ on... QUATTUORUX [Expert 13] of all charts!!! i think it was my highest score on a 13 to date, and the rating easily proves its significance!!! (or well, maybe it just proves this was a new version song after all) . following this score were somewhat weaker but still pretty decent scores on Shinjinrui [Master 13+] and Live & Learn [Master 13]!! Shinjinrui was the most shocking, because it felt like a REALLY easy 13+ compared to what i imagined a 13+ would look like, and so i walked away from the chart with an impressive AAA and a massive rating boost!!! Live & Learn, however... can't really say much on it, but given how badly people treat the chart, i feel like i might have a talent for janky charts even in this game too...!

okay!!! while i technically do have one more image left here before i reach the limit, i think it'd be better and cleaner to merge all the upcoming EZ2AC scores into one post (especially given i have an EZ2ON score from home to share alongside them) . i'll offer my closing remarks for the session there as well, but commenting on the GCM scores as a whole here, I'm both impressed and disappointed that i've been able to progress this much this quickly while not having consistent access to the games at all... impressed because of how foreign this games have always felt and how i've never had the chance to play maimai or ONGEKI until the start of this year, but disappointed because these games still remain super inaccessible here even after years of releases, meaning i probably won't see this level of improvement until an official release here... i guess i do have my other games to distract me from the fact though, i just wish i could better connect to maimai and its community if it weren't for us being shafted every time...

December 21st, 2024 (2/3) - EZ2AC, maimai BUDDiES PLUS, CHUNITHM SUN, ONGEKI

We're BACK!!! with part TWO of this massive series of posts... it's a bit disappointing that the tumblr posting limits don't allow me to combine every score from this session into just one post, but in retrospect it's completely understandable... don't think anyone would wanna scroll through a post with 70 images, no matter how clean of a collage they are . on the upside, making separate posts for separate halves of the session makes for a bigger opportunity to write about certain scores and backstories without making them a slog to read!!! so, if any of those stories correlated to my scores Do pop up, i'll be sure to write about them as best and concisely as possible!!!

...and speaking of score-related stories, we've already got our first one here with the first score of the new post!!! kicking it off by going insida DJ Box... but anyways, this is SND!!! if you saw the post from yesterday (well . not Yesterday as in the time i'm writing the post, but Yesterday as in the daily session before this massive one), you'll know that one of the last few songs i played towards the end of my EZ2ON session with inkss was.... SND!!! this was the song that got him to 20.5 rating (amazing accomplishment btw, i'm still stuck at like 13 or something LOL), but moreover, it was a song i was quickly addicted to because of its rave theme and funny visuals... and to my glee, its BGA was indeed available in the version of EZ2AC following its release!!! what a wondrous day and opportunity, i just had to play it!!! ...only, i forgot just how hard EZ2AC was (mainly the 5K Standard mode) compared to EZ2ON, and so i was met with this tragic last-note fail on the chart when i already had the clear within my grasp... ah, such is life . i'll get it next time, mayhaps...?

alright then, backstory aside!!! i wanted to give it a few more tries in the moment, but it was already my turn in line to hop on maimai again, so let's check it out again!!! ...and once again, a ton of real bad and wonky scores... (massugu stream was legit a terrible chart, but hey!!! since they were both new ver songs, so i got a bunch of rating from them www) . so if you look close at the rating on a majority of these songs, you can see massive rating upscores as i had yet to fill all my new version rating slots!!!

...best score + new version scores are a plight on rhythm gaming though, and i'll still stand by this until games do away with it... but i can't deny how much it beefs up my already beefed-up rating, like over 1k new rating in a single session??? ...but alas, i knew this boost wasn't forever, so that's why i was trying to make the most of it in the first place www . maybe i could even hit 11k this session if i keep at it...

...gah, snap out of it!!! that's more than enough rating for you, quit focusing on it so much!!! we've got other games to play and other funny charts to explore... but my main reason for pulling away from maimai was surprisingly needing to fulfill certain song requests from twitter!!! with these past few maimai sessions (the only suggestion played above being STARTLINER though), i've been knocking out request by request, though admittedly a bit half-assed in the scoring department... still, couldn't do much about it as i really was just that bad at maimai . but you know what i wasn't As Bad at?? CHUNITHM!!!

maimai sessions were too short and the card queue wait was too long, so i quickly needed someway else to scratch that gekichumai itch . and that's when i approached this golden opportunity to grind and improve at one of the other funky sega rhythm games... results? INSANITY!!! it was as if i'd never stopped playing... like, just look at all these individual scores!!! STAR OF ANDROMEDA [Master Lv.14+] FC (+14k upscore btw), a sweet SS on Finite [Master Lv.14+], a sweet sightread SS on Ignition [Master Lv.13+], and even finally getting an FC on Fracture Ray [Master Lv.14+] in local matching!!!!

amidst all the chaotic scores, however, i was suffering through agonizing upon agonizing sessions of AJ grinding, with the target being STARTLINER to get it out of the way in all three GCM games . sure, i could've submitted any of these, but i knew i had it in me... i KNEW i had a christmas miracle up my sleeve, still . just need to charge it up a bit more before i unleash it, of course...

...so to summarize, i'm kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place in terms of GCM scores for now . so why not take a break from it all with some EZ2AC??? namely, why not try seeing if i can finally take down SND before it was my turn up on maimai again? and sure enough, first stage after several failed credits... i did it!!! SND [NM Lv.9] CLEAR!!!! and while i was at it, i also cleared Repulse Stream (RAVEN@TION Remix) [NM Lv.8] with very bad acc, and then i tried SND again to see if i could get better acc!!! (i couldn't) (lol)

...there was still a ways to go until my turn on the maimai cab, but amidst my wait... i saw a different cab freed up and another opportunity to game... on ONGEKI!!!! man, i rarely ever get the chance to play this game, and i sorta regret it because this game is FUN!!! AS!!! HELL!!! only problem is there's so many annoying popups and UIs that i end up skipping the results screen by accident when trying to take a picture of it, which is why you only see two scores here rather than three... thankfully however, one of the scores i managed to get was an S on STARTLINER [Master Lv.11], meaning i had knocked out 2/3 games now!!! 3 if we count the scuffed Chunithm scores, but i still really want to close out that AJ...

whew, okay FINALLY it was maimai time!!! and just in time for the end of my ongeki credit... so then, what amazing scores would we get after waiting in line for so long?? ....nothing of note, unfortunately . got forced to play stupid charts with my friend, so this was sort of a waste of a credit in retrospect... wah, all that time waiting in line and not even a single rating increase !!!

whatever, though . if maimai ain't got my back, i know chunithm does for sure . hopping back on after an exhausting and somewhat disappointing maimai session, i started going HAM with some of this scores!!!! like for one, i instantly kicked it off with a sightread FC on I'm so happy [Master Lv.13+] ft. the shoopster, and then i finally got that MAX-9 ALL JUSTICE on STARTLINER [Master Lv.10] that i've been trying to get for so long!!! ...and now, for the miscellaneous chaotic songs!!! following my little antics, we've got an SS (finally) on HERA [Master Lv.14]!! and then following a suggestion from twitter, we have a few songs to get though!!! the first of which was Insane Gamemode [Master Lv.14], where i slayed with a near-SSS and massive rating increase!!! ....only to have it sabotaged by the evil, evil chart (not really) that is Daitoushi=Klein Vogel Spiel=Erika [Master Lv.14+]... even though i got an SS on the chart on sightread!!!! so unfair... but i wasn't going down without a fight!!! so after yet ANOTHER insane play on another suggestion, Rule the World!! (Master Lv.14, AJ-2!!! maybe next time...), i went back to the song and destroyed it with a +4k upscore to make it... almost an SS+!!! and so began my mix of obsession and rivalry with the song...

aaaand wouldya look at that!!! in what's kind of a perfect timing, i hit the image limit just as i was about to transition over to maimai scores again!!! sooo i think this is the perfect spot to end of this post and come back again with the third and final post for this day's session!! overall, some REALLY good scores in the chunithm department, and a consistently good show of improvement in maimai!!! also super glad i managed to show off EZ2AC in this post, but i don't think there's any more scores of it in the next post... it's all GCM from here baybee!!! welp, i'll see you in the conclusion to this super lengthy saga!!
