oh, nothing makes me feel stronger emotion than veth leaning over to a deeply distraught caleb and asking him, under her breath and outside of the main group conversation, if he’s okay. not even raising her voice, not intending to make it a group conversation or a Narrative Moment or anything (though it does become that), just comfort and care and love between two characters who will always be by one another’s side.
