1.6-liter (Gamma-4) twin-scroll turbocharged engine with direct injection. 201 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 195 lb.-ft. of torque between 1,750 and 4,500 rpm. 0-60 mph in 7.8 seconds and the quarter mile in 16.0 seconds at 87 mph.

Trivia:- Turbo boosted from non turbo Veloster (posted below this) 138 to 201 horsepower and torque gets an equally impressive increase from 132 to 195 lb-ft.
