MIND BLOWING
Date: 3 March 2022
Duration: 49 minutes at 10:27 PM
Depth:
Oh! What a session! I don’t think I have ever been this far within my mind.
One can be so deeply tucked inside one’s mind that one can lose all consciousness of one’s immediate surroundings. It’s an act of placing one’s attention on a sleep beyond one’s subconscious, while sitting upright!
Meditation beyond the conscious mind is quite a ride. The most that one can do with the conscious, waking, thinking mind is to analyse collected memories to store them meaningfully. Beyond it, the mind is an undiscovered treasure trove.
Last night, my left ear popped. I have experienced this only once before. Without any voluntary movement in the body and head, to find one’s ears popping at a distance from one’s attention is quite an experience.
Last night, my body didn’t move involuntarily with loose uncontainable energies running in the spine. My body didn’t move, and my breathing made a restful pause. Everything that I have described thus far occurred in the first few minutes of the session.
With sensations from the body lost to my attention, it was strange to come around. I found that my spine was straight but slanting forward. I had to correct the posture in a gentle manner in order to keep meditating after the first few mind blowing minutes of meditation.
After the first few minutes of a possible vacuumed mind, the mind breathed again. Imagery began flowing before my attention. The images that passed my attention last night were amazing. I can’t even dream the stuff that I witnessed.
And none of it is absurd, mind you. All of intuitive imagery has a feel of perhaps stuff happening in the current moment or stuff that has happened already or it may be something that’s yet to happen. The meditator is stripped off their timeline before they reach the intuitive mind. One just can’t tell when the events are from.
All imagery in the intuitive mind is somehow devoid of personal desires. The images have a ‘happenstance’ feel about them, unmotivated by desirous memories. It is incredible to watch the intuitive mind, when one is given access to it.
