justine ~ day three-sixty

When we started I had a feeling we’d lose people along the way; people who weren’t committed, who grew bored, who got too busy. But I knew some of us would stay, those of us who are dedicated, enjoying the challenge, appreciating the experience.

I knew I’d stay; I don’t like to start things and fail to see them to the end. I owe myself the chance to feel accomplished, to achieve something.

And so here I am. It’s been nearly and year and although there have been times where I’ve needed to catch up, I haven’t given up.

And I’m glad I didn’t. There’s something satisfying, and reassuring, to know that I am capable of writing every day for a year, of responding creatively to a range of different prompts and producing work that I am sometimes quite proud of.

This is what makes up my story of 365.

justine ~ day three-thirty

The days are suddenly flying by and the numbers just keep getting bigger. It’s funny to think that it was over a year ago that we began and suddenly we’re almost at the end. We’ve come a long way and although we’re not quite there I know we’re going to make it. And I’m so proud of us for coming this far.
