Enjoy perfectly smoked ribs using the 3-2-1 method, resulting in tender, flavorful meat with a delightful balance of smokiness and sweetness.
Ingredients: 2 racks of baby back ribs. 1/4 cup of your favorite dry rub. 1 cup of apple juice. 1 cup of barbecue sauce.
Instructions: Take the membrane off of the back of the ribs and use paper towels to dry them. Spread a lot of the dry rub on both sides of the ribs, making sure it covers them evenly. To add flavor, heat your smoker to 225F 107C with the wood chips of your choice. Put the ribs on the grill grates so that the bone side is down. Smoke for three hours. Once the three hours are up, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and add a little apple juice to each square. Put the ribs back in the smoker after being wrapped and smoke them for two more hours. Carefully take the ribs out of the package, brush them with barbecue sauce, and then put them back in the smoker for one more hour. A tender piece of meat should be easy to pull away from the bone. Don't serve the ribs right away; let them rest for a few minutes first. Then cut them up and serve.
