33 Postcards Movie Trailer HD 1080p
For ten years, Chinese orphan Mei Mei has been supported by donations from her Australian sponsor Dean Randall, who sends her postcards that describe his idyllic family life. At 16, when the orphanage choir tours Australia, Mei Mei discovers the shocking truth - Randall, who she thought was the perfect father figure - is actually a convict in prison for manslaughter. Randall never imagined he would ever meet Mei Mei and wants nothing to do with her. His donations were just an attempt to dull the guilt of his past crimes. But, undeterred by his reluctance and recognizing his loneliness, Mei Mei slips away from the choir every day to visit Randall in prison. In order to make money to stay in Australia, Mei Mei naively becomes entangled with Randall's crooked associates. To save Mei Mei from his fate, Randall must make an impossible sacrifice. But by making it, he might not be just saving Mei Mei, he might be saving them both.

33 Postcards, 2011
Having never heard of 33 Postcards (2011), i decided to throw myself in and watch it. (Recently, i keep doing this and recomend to everybody to start watching films you know nothing about...within reason). Starring Guy Pearce, Zhu Lin, Lincoln Lewis, Rhys Muldoo, Claudia Karvan and many other familiar and non familiar faces. An inspirational dream of going from an orphanage in China to the idealistic landscape of Australia to sing and find her family is depicted in a very honest and forthcoming manner. What is admirable about this film (in addition to some reputable acting), is the director & writers desire to keep the film pragmatic. Pearce's trully fine acting reflects the inner struggle of his character Dean Randall, whilst Zhu Lin, playing the naive Mei Mei, portrays somebody who, despite her naivety, may be the most knowledgeable and pragmatic character. Elaine Jin, playing none another than Miss Chen is notably the dark horse & extensively stunning performances from all. What is also noteworthy, is the music, which can be seen in the film to be the fundamental aspect. The titles alone of the soundtracks are inspirational enough. With some like, "What Doesn't Kill You Makes You Prettier", "Happiness" & the pinacle "Because I Love You" with lyrics as "it's because i love you...do what you wanna do, be what you wanna be..." A truly uncomplicated stunning performance.
