Since 1982 I have been following U2. For me, who was still enchanted by the beauty of The Joshua Tree, and the adventurous folk Rattle and Hum, Achtung Baby was (and is) a true revolution, a masterpiece of sonic and visual art. I remember seeing the video for "The Fly" for the first time and being amazed. This was surprising and shocking. U2 wanted to break with the past and reinvent themselves and they succeeded masterfully. I've never seen a band with so much stamina and courage to try new things and surprise their fans. Over the years, all I can say is: Thank you, U2, for always giving us so much!

something kinda simple for kirbys 33rd anniversary. i intended to draw something last year, but like usual, i just completely forgot about it. its frustratingly common for me to intend to do something one day, and the only time i remember it is the day after, but i finally remembered this year!

kirby is a character who i feel like i needed to make some fanart of because hes such a big part of my childhood. if i had never discovered the furry community or the object show community, i could see myself being in the kirby fandom

anyway, i decided to go for a more retro depiction of kirby here, like kirby super star/kirbys fun pak era. i definitely like his current depiction too, but idk theres something i especially like about his late 90s/early 2000s look for some reason. i think his smaller face at the time made him look more squishy and silly
