Love for Pilates & littlefork

You’re turning 35 and it’s a milestone worth celebrating with a bang but your closest girlfriends can’t party like they used to because of kids. So what do you do? You plan a Sunday brunch that starts off with an hour of Pilates to get the body going. Love for Pilates just opened not too long ago on the corner of Vine Street & Fountain Avenue. The owner, Tia Schroeder, has an amazing way of making you feel comfortable while giving your body a good workout and keeping it fun. Following our 1pm Cardio Shape & Sculpt class, we drove a few blocks over to the corner of Selma Avenue and Wilcox Avenue where we enjoyed brunch at littlefork. We took advantage of their endless mimosas, bloody Mary’s and bloody Larry’s. Yes, bloody Larry’s which has Bourbon instead of Vodka … yum! What’s the best way to end Sunday Funday with your girls? A little pampering at your local nail salon with a mani & pedi. We went to Pastel Nails on Melrose Avenue near Vine Street where I got gel nail color called “My Private Jet” which lasted through the following weekend when my birthday soirée took place in Sin City Las Vegas.
