bro getting a body pillow changed my life. i made the inner case myself and stuffed it with 3kg of plush and shoved it inside the guts berserk pillow case. like the novelty isnt even the character case, i can swap it for whoever i want, but having a HEAVY and THICK long pillow (it aint even the bigger size) is SO GOOD for my posture while sleeping and laying down in general, i really cant sleep well without it.

i gotta start travelling with guts berserk more without any shame bc my sleeping health deserves it. GET YOURSELVES BODY PILLOWS

i just found out how long soap operas run for and im going insane. the existence of general hospital is about to do me in. like id vaguely heard of both it and days of our lives but i assumed they were old shows that weren't running anymore what do you MEAN they're still on??? 60 seasons????

just watched Ready Or Not and there's a scene where they try to justify the death of a kid.

the kid shoots the final girl at some point, when he's found his uncle says "we all deserve to die" about his evil family and the kid's mom goes "my children don't", then IN SEQUENCE, so the viewer knoes for a fact these lines are directly related, the kid discloses he shot the final girl bc that's what everyone else was doing and his uncle looks at him with a long pause.

this is the most basic level correlation and what that scene is meant to convey is that "uhh maybe that murderous kid deserves to die too🤔". which is kinda disgusting even though it's just a movie. I MEAN it's just a movie, right?... RIGHT? no movie ever impacted our collective consciousness about certain topics, RIGHT?

this is by far definitely not the first time a hollywood movie has a scene that explicitly stated that a child "deserves to die". neither is the first to have soft power over our collective consciousness. it's no close to Jaws and the influence it had on how we view sharks, but it still contributes to the problem, it's a small piece in a big puzzle of the manipulation of public opinion and the general morality of the masses.

don't get me wrong, the movie is enjoyable, i just personally couldn't overlook this specific detail in times like this where z*onists are constantly trying to propagate the same feelingnabout palestinian children. historically, this type of propaganda and violence justification has been done to children of color in its majority. that scene hits different with the social lenses i have today.

in conclusion: no child in the world ever "deserves to die" no matter what. media analysis and criticism is key to understand propaganda and learn to avoid and combat it's influence. and free palestine.
