I don't know if I'm happy about this one or not. This is the beautiful Minas Tirith model by @clavenmoo printed in @re_pet_3d rPLA Snow White in 0.16mm layers and 15% infill on the @artillery3dofficial Sidewinder X1. From a distance the model looks great but I had some massive layer shifts near the top. Using a Volcano style hotend on this printer doesn't really make sense in my opinion because the print surface sits on springs which will have far to many fibrations when printing at higher speeds. The nozzle will touch the print at some point and layer shifts will happen. Using Z-Hop can reduce this but on a large wobbly bed like this I'm sure lowering the speed makes more sense. However, again using a Volcano hotend doesn't. 🤔 https://www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-minas-tirith-56761 #3dprinting #3dprintingcommunity #3dprinter #3dprint #3dprintproblems #3dp #artillery3d #artillerysidewinderx1 #sidewinderx1 #clavenmoo #minastirith #lotr #re_pet_3d #recycledfilament #rpla #cura #makermovement #makers #myminifactory #de3dprintman (at Leiderdorp) https://www.instagram.com/p/CMwcC4yLKyf/?igshid=1ocn20udcefia
