Day 5: I lived....a part of me released the desires to control my weekend and I allowed myself to be in the present and see the beautiful opportunities that arose from disappointments and contrast. I reflected......I had the ability to see my past and remember that I am no longer living in that space anymore and I am in a new place of transition and discovery. I loved... in the moment I was able to spread unconditional love to conditional circumstances and free myself from the desired outcomes. I am.... a friend, a sister, a confidant, a cousin, a believer and a healer. Day 4: Creativity breads creativity. The essence of someone's energy can draw you into a place called home... Day 40: What does it feel like to reach a goal? For me? How about..a little apprehension, fear or nervousness...or all the above mixed with a lil self-doubt and a dash of excitement. Now, you know I am not one to brag but I should have quit a long time ago and I’m still here writing.... I will say this, I’ve never wanted to write unless I’ve been inspired and today I felt overwhelmed with Thanksgiving and joy. I couldn’t keep myself from writing this.. I started a #40daywritingchallenge like a year ago. Insert major eye roll: I know! I couldn’t write straight for 40 days! Until today! So What??!! I have learned to never give up and I also learned the blessings in being able to express myself through this journey. No matter where you left off on that poem, project, or job; don’t ever give up! If you have a passion to do something, the only thing keeping you from achieving it is YOU along with your loaded closet with all those insecurities and fears. Open that closet, let it all air out and face your fears! I promise you that anything worth doing in life should freak you out just a lil bit! But when you’re on the other side of fear...know that all you can do is fly! Please join me in saying peace to people, places, and things that have held you back! Day 34: Have you taken time today to remember that you are more than enough and that your life is a gift? Remember, we can have confidence in not only our natural born gifts but in the source of all things, confidence in our beautiful disasters and confidence in knowing that the best is to come! Today, is another day we have breath in our lungs, another day we have a chance to trust that all things work together for our good. Exhale fear, exhale unbelief and pain. Exhale the words that have been spoken that don't align with your destiny. There is no time like the present moment we are sharing now.. shake off anything that doesn't serve your purpose and remember...It's a new day! So, Inhale confidence, exhale doubt!
