As I sat here admiring this majestic view of Procida island, I was reminded of what Mama Heidi Baker wrote on the card for me when we first arrived in Mozambique. She wrote "Daphne, while I was praying for you, I got a picture of you jumping off a cliff into the ocean. The Lord spoke to me and said that he wants to take you deeper than you've ever been, but first you have to experience the free fall. He will be the ground you stand on, even when you feel like you're falling." Wowwwwwwwww. This was insane because if you remember the photo I posted right before I left for Mozambique, it was a picture of me standing by the edge of the cliff and the ocean in front of me. And then she gave me this word! Free falling is so scary! I recall a time when I was in Sri Lanka and I was so excited to do canyoning and water rafting etc. But when our guide told me to jump down this huge waterfall, I was sooo scared! My goodness. It took me ages just to let go of all fear and control and just trust that the water beneath me would catch me and take that leap. I want to go to deeper waters but have I completely let go of absolutely everything? To give God FULL control? Do I trust him completely to catch me? It's easy to say it, but how much do you actually believe it? My faith in Jesus definitely grew deeper after this Mission trip. He healed blind eyes and deaf ears before my eyes. Living under such an open heaven is their reality. He is in the process of renewing my mind again 💖 Spirit lead me where my feet could ever wander. Where my trust is without borders. It's so scary!
