1 minute video
This is a one minute-film for the course 4D from Noam-lee, Hadas and Isa. For this project we were focused on making an abstract, non-linear film about moving subjects. It takes place in a metro station and on the streets.
The concept was to take a video to a more abstract and someway stills-inspired direction. We had several ideas, mostly of filming different actions like eating, listening to music, walking, etc. During filming, and also while looking at our materials, we felt like we have a strong concept of moving in a city, and decided to focus on that.
Filming day around the city was pretty fun and playful. we had some difficulties through the way, like that we weren't allowed to film within metro station (so we filmed everything secretly and hand-held), but finished with some interesting footages.
Personally, I like our concept and the way approached it. I think of maybe taking it even further and use our footages and assemble a video with only escalators and elevators, that are a big part of my experience with moving here in Amsterdam.
