Landrush start at 2018 Dakar Rally 4th stage along the beach in San Juan de Marcona today. Cars started 4 vehicle wide, motorcycles 15 bikes wide. After this sprint along the beach, the drivers attack one of the longest-ever sandy sections in the history of the Dakar: a total of 100 km, with dunes of all sizes!

So far has Adrien Van Beveren reached CP4 with a good lead over his rivals. The Yamaha rider took advantage of a regrouping of riders at CP3 to gain a five minute lead over Xavier de Soultrait in second. Stefan Svitko currently lies in provisional third, 7 minutes behind the stage leader.
