5 Films

I was tagged by basmathgirl​ to chose 5 films I'd take with me on a deserted island. So here we go~

Fright Night. Because I could watch it over and over again and for some reason David in those leather pants never fails to make me happy.

The Last Unicorn. Because of happy childhood memories.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Because of more memories and it's just a really good movie.

Fack Ju Göhte Because it is one of the only great German movies I know. It's hilarious and if you ever get the chance to watch it: watch it!

The Little Shop of Horrors Because the music is all kinds of brilliant and Audrey II never fails to inspire my dark!muse. I hope you like my answers. Five films I'd take on a desert island.

I was tagged by basmathgirl to do this and found it a lot harder than I thought.

Hmm..films. Most of mine are quite childish but I don’t care they’d keep my spirits up. But I’d better be allowed some tv programmes and at least a radio as well.

Ok…

1.Hot Fuzz - I love the Cornetto Trilogy. This was the first one I watched so that’s why I picked it. Shaun of the dead did come a close second though.

2.Life is beautiful (Italian film) - it’s just a heartwarming, upsetting and cute film. I’ll have to take one tear jerker with me and this is it.

3.Beauty and the Beast - No matter what you’ve got to take a Disney film and it was between The Lion King and this. I do love this film and I think it was the first Disney princess film I watched.

4.Shadowman- Steven Seagal film with Eva Pope. It’s just pure action movie with no romance. It would make a change.

5.Cuban Fury- I only watched this film the other day and fell in love with it and I don’t know why I did.

It’s a lot harder than it seems.

Five films I’d take on a desert island

I was asked by thereareangels to choose five films to take with me on a desert island.

Only 5?! If I also don’t get my eight discs and a book, I’ll be really miffed… [Desert Island Discs® BBC Radio 4 and the Roy Plomley Estate]

 Star Wars  - since we always watch them all together, would you believe? Because it’s true

The Matrix – what’s not to love about Keanu Reeves fighting Hugo Weaving whilst wearing a leather coat in a sci-fi classic

Calamity Jane – so that I can wallow in an old Doris Day film and sing along

The Fifth Element – I almost went with Léon, but this one is cheerier

Monty Python and the Life of Brian – I’d be almost drummed out of the country if I didn’t choose this one since it is a national treasure. So much to enjoy and endlessly quote. Plus, how can you watch this and not sing along at the end?
