I wish my parents understood that I have anxiety and depression at the same time and that them telling me what they where like as kids only makes me feel worse. You shovin that negotiable shit onto me isn't going to help me at all. Want to help me? Tell me things you needed to hear when you went though these hours. Tell me the good and the bad. Take me to the therapy you didn't get. Help me stay active when you couldn't. Just bc you did and did not do things as a kid does not mean I have to go through the same shit and turn out like you. You are the reason I will do anything to not be a parent. You are the reason I will not have kids bc I will treat them the same you treated me.
