Kilchurn Castle is One of Scotland's most picturesque castles, Built over 500 years ago by the Campbell Clen, Kilchurn was originally a 5-storey tower. Apart from a clan dispute with the McGregor, the Castle did not suffer from any major conflict. However in 1760 the Castle was struck by lightning which destroyed one of the towers causing a fire within the Castle! 😯
