“Bunyip” Week 3 of the “52-Week Illustration Challenge” and the theme was “Australiana”. This fisherman and his son are fishing in the bunyip’s territory. Bunyip is an aboriginial mythological creature that is said to lurk in the waters of Australia. I guess it’s hard to see, but the fish that the boy caught is crushed under the bunyip’s paw.
